We survey, quote, and install flat roofing systems — GRP fibreglass, EPDM rubber, felt, and liquid-applied systems — on domestic and commercial properties. We hold manufacturer-approved-installer status for Cure It GRP, Elevate EPDM, Flex-R, ResTec, Rapid Roof Pro, and Cromar HydroSil. We survey properties, quote in writing, complete the work, and back it with manufacturer and workmanship warranties.
Surveys are free and carry no obligation. Our quote is valid for 30 days from the date issued. The quote is based on what we see and what you tell us about the property — if we discover materially different conditions once work begins (hidden defects, structural issues, undisclosed previous treatments), we'll pause and re-quote in writing before continuing.
To book a job we ask for a deposit (typically 25% of the quoted total) which secures your slot in our schedule and covers materials we order specifically for your job. The balance is split between a milestone payment when work starts and a final payment on completion. Exact split is shown on your quote.
Quotes are inclusive of materials, labour, and disposal of removed materials. Quotes are exclusive of VAT unless we tell you otherwise in writing. Prices in any advert or website tool are estimates — your actual price comes from a survey-based written quote.
We back installed roofing systems with manufacturer warranties registered in your name — valid because we hold approved-installer status with each manufacturer. The period and scope of the warranty depends on the system installed and is stated in your written quote. Warranties cover the system we installed under normal conditions; they do not cover damage from third-party works, structural movement of the building, or deliberate damage. Warranty claims must be made in writing within 30 days of noticing the issue.
You agree to give us safe and reasonable access to the work area for the duration of the job, including a power supply we can use. You agree to disclose any known structural issues, previous roofing works, hidden services (gas, water, electrical), and any restrictions imposed by listed-building consent or party-wall agreements. If we have to stop work because of an undisclosed condition, you cover any reasonable costs we've incurred up to that point.
You can cancel any time before work starts. If you cancel after we've ordered materials specifically for your job, the deposit covers our cost; we don't charge more than that. If you change scope mid-project (additional roof sections, system upgrade, extra detailing), we'll quote the change in writing before doing any extra work. No surprise invoices.
If we have to cancel — illness, supplier failure, conditions beyond our control — we refund any payments you've made for work not yet done, in full, within 14 days.
Payment is by bank transfer (preferred), debit/credit card, or cheque. Final balance is due within 7 days of practical completion. Late payments accrue statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We don't enforce this on first-time domestic customers without a reminder.
LP Roofing Ltd carries Public Liability insurance (PL [[PL_INSURANCE_NUM]]) and Employers' Liability insurance (EL [[EL_INSURANCE_NUM]]). Certificates available on request before work begins.
If we cause you a problem, our liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid us for the service concerned. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — missed rental income, alternative accommodation costs, business interruption — except where the law says liability cannot be limited (fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, statutory rights under UK consumer law).
If you're unhappy with the work, please tell us first — email info@lproofing.co.uk or call 0800 7720 992. We aim to respond within one working day and to resolve complaints within 14 days. If we can't resolve it, you have the right to seek alternative dispute resolution or to pursue the matter through the courts.
We handle your contact details and survey information per UK GDPR. Full detail at /privacy. We don't sell your data, ever.
If we update these terms, the changes apply to work booked after the update date. Existing projects run under the terms that were live when you paid your deposit.
