Phased work · out-of-hours fits · full RAMS on request · manufacturer-approved installer · public liability £5m.
Large-area EPDM and liquid-applied systems. Phased over weekends or out-of-hours to keep operations running while sections are fitted.
Minimised customer-facing disruption. Dust-free liquid systems used where stock or shopfloor is directly below the roof deck.
Out-of-hours and weekend fits on occupied buildings. Dust and odour minimised through system selection and scheduling.
Holiday-period scheduling as standard. Full safeguarding compliance for all site visits and mobilisation.
Workshops, MOT centres, tyre fitters. Work scheduled around your trading hours — we don't disrupt the business week without agreement.
Single-day or weekend slots. Work isolated to the section in scope so the rest of your site stays fully accessible throughout.
Phased work: Large commercial roofs are split into bays so one section stays fully watertight while another is being prepared and fitted. This is standard practice for live retail units with stock below, active warehouses, and occupied offices — there is no need to vacate the building for the duration of the project.
Out-of-hours fits: Weekend and 18:00–06:00 fits are available where site access permits. The premium on labour is typically 15–25% over daytime rates; for most commercial clients this is justified by zero disruption to operations, staff, and customers. We'll give you both costs upfront so you can make the call.
Method statements: Full RAMS — risk assessment and method statement — is provided on request before mobilisation. Delivered as a PDF ready for your H&S file, principal contractor, or property manager. No charge, no chasing.
EPDM rubber is the default for most commercial roofs. Low-disruption to fit, dimensionally stable across temperature extremes, 20-year warranted lifespan when installed by an approved installer. Well suited to warehouses, schools, offices, and any building where you need a system that goes down fast and lasts.
Liquid-applied systems (Cromar HydroSil, ResTec) are the right call for retro-fits over an existing failing roof where the deck is structurally sound. You save the cost and disruption of stripping and skipping the old surface — significant on a tenanted building. The new liquid layer goes on in sections, cures fast, and carries a full manufacturer warranty.
GRP fibreglass suits showroom fronts and architectural details where finish quality matters. The prep and cure window is longer than EPDM or liquid — it is usually not the first choice for a live commercial building, but it's the right answer for certain applications.
We'll specify the right system at survey — there is no one-size-fits-all answer for commercial.
